(...) during operations at LSSE OSŁA, we honored the memory of the firefighter who tragically died while returning from a fire in our municipality.
Our firefighters at LSSE Osła, at the end of their nighttime deployment to extinguish a fire at a waste-processing facility, paid tribute to an officer of the Operational Group of the Chief Commander of the State Fire Service, who died in an accident while on duty, returning from the fire at that facility.

Honor to his memory!
Let us recall. On Saturday, a fire service vehicle returning from operations at the fire in Osła was involved in an accident on the S8 route, on the carriageway toward Warsaw, near Wrocław’s Psie Pole district. Three firefighters from the Headquarters of the State Fire Service were traveling in the vehicle. According to 24wroclaw.pl, preliminary findings indicate that the driver of the fire service Mercedes lost control while overtaking and hit crash barriers. As a result of the tragic accident, one officer died and two were injured.
The firefighters’ families are receiving the necessary psychological support, and the Command’s leadership remains in constant contact with the families.
On behalf of himself and the entire firefighting community, the Chief Commander of the State Fire Service expresses his deepest sorrow and condolences to the family of the deceased and to the injured firefighters.
