To mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the brilliant composer, on Wednesday, 19 May, at the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec (Grunwaldzka Street), a Chopin Concert will be held. Students and teachers of the Witold Lutosławski State Music School of the first degree will perform.
The concert begins at 5:30 p.m.. Awards will also be presented that day to the winners of the competition for a poster promoting Chopin Year. The event is organised by the Bolesławiec County Office and the MDK.
