The incident occurred on Thursday, July 28, in Rudzica in Lubań County. At around 4:30 p.m., a man was crushed by a combine harvester. As reported by eluban.pl:
The incident occurred when the driver realized that the harvesting unit had not been installed correctly and tried to fix it. At one point, the header fell to the ground and crushed the man's legs.
The portal adds:
Before rescuers arrived, local residents made a lever from beams, lifted the header, which weighed more than a tonne, and freed the injured man.
The injured man was taken to hospital. His life is not in danger.
