A series of serious fires in the county; operations lasted several hours. Two Dromaders in action

The incidents occurred on Thursday, July 28, in the afternoon. As reported by the 112 Polkowice

The most serious [pożaru] occurred in the village of Krzyżowa in Gromadka Municipality, where a fire involving standing grain and stubble spread to young forest and mature woodland.

Numerous units from Bolesławiec County took part in the operation, along with firefighters from neighboring counties: Legnica, Polkowice, Złotoryja, Zgorzelec and Lwówek. Two Dromader aircraft were also dispatched to the incidents.

At 2:10 p.m., we were dispatched to a field fire in Kraśnik Górny; fortunately, the call turned out to be false. Unfortunately, immediately after the false report was received, we were sent to a large fire involving grain and forest, which appeared in several places. We operated in Różyniec and Krzyżowa.
