Four people fell into the hands of the Bolesławiec police: two women (aged 21 and 25) and two men (aged 19 and 24). The suspects are residents of Legnica and Kłodzko County. All four were detained in the act—as they attempted to sell counterfeit perfumes.
The fraudsters carried out their operation throughout Bolesławiec County. They told buyers that the perfumes were genuine brand-name products. Police found 130 containers of counterfeit perfume products on the detainees. Manufacturers' losses were estimated at approximately PLN 13,000.
The four now face up to 8 years in prison.
