The incident occurred on Tuesday (18 May) at approximately 9:00 a.m. Both cars were traveling from Kruszyn toward Bolesławiec. While overtaking, the driver of a Hyundai struck the side of a Volkswagen Golf that was turning left. As a result of the collision, the Hyundai veered into a roadside ditch, while the Golf stopped on the sidewalk. Fortunately, no one was injured in the collision. Police determined that the driver of the Hyundai was responsible for the collision because he had overtaken improperly. The driver responsible for the collision was fined PLN 250. He also received 6 penalty points.
