PAP’s local-government service has published a ranking of the wealthiest and poorest municipalities in Poland in 2022. The ranking’s authors:
These forecasts, used to calculate the so-called Janosik tax, are based on data concerning municipalities’ tax revenues for 2020 (as of 30 June 2021). They include, among other things, revenue from fees (such as the extraction fee) and taxes on real estate, agriculture and forests, as well as shares in CIT and PIT revenues.
