The urban municipality of Bolesławiec achieved high positions in Poland’s quality-of-life rankings. The mayor spoke about the city’s strong position during the October session.

The “Where Is Life Best?” report is a compilation of 90 indicators—health, education, transport, access to services, economic conditions and the environment... The ranking presents both an expert perspective and a survey-based perspective, drawing on the results of an opinion poll of adult Poles.

According to the quality-of-life ranking, among municipalities, Bolesławiec took first place in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship (ahead of, among others, the municipalities of Świdnica, Lubin, Zgorzelec and Głogów) and fifth place in the country (where Sopot took first place, followed by Warsaw, Mińsk Mazowiecki and Legionowo).

The ranking was created on the basis of survey results and an analysis of spatial variables conducted using the Algolytics analytical platform in cooperation with the SW Research research agency and its partners. It is published, among others, by the wyborcza.pl

website.
