On Saturday, 15 May, the 4th Indoor Football Tournament for the Mayor of Piechowice Cup was held, organised by the Piechowice Abstinence Club “Eden”. Seven teams took part in the competition, including three from Bolesławiec. The tournament was opened by the mayor’s plenipotentiary for solving alcohol-related problems, Wiesława Rak.
The best team in the competition proved to be the Bolesławiec Abstainers’ Association “Przemiana 3”. The players from BSA “Przemiana 2” took second place. The players from “Eden 2” Piechowice finished third. “Przemiana 1” came fifth.
The top scorer was Robert Stańkowski from BSA “Przemiana 2”, while the tournament’s best player was Łukasz Graczyk from “Przemiana 3”.
