– This year, the Bolesławiec Municipal Police received one report about scooters left on the pavement – the istotne.pl service reports, citing Kamila Chalewicz-Pudłowska, commander of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police. – When a report is received about scooters left behind, the company that operates these devices is notified.

Let us recall. On 15 July, we reported that a Bolesławiec resident who wishes to remain anonymous wrote to us about electric scooters:

If you are from Bolesławiec and do not have a paid subscription, you pay a PLN 75 fine. But what about parking scooters?

And added: – As in this case – in the middle of the pavement? Who should enforce order, and how large a fine should the owner of these vehicles pay? What about safety?

He also observed:

Here, the scooters were left in the middle of the pavement, next to a bus shelter. What if someone, getting off a bus, trips over one and seriously injures their head or breaks an arm? Or if someone is running along the pavement and collides with it, with a similar result?

Shortly after the publication of the article in question, the company QUICK wrote to us:

Thank you for the information; every report of this kind is dealt with immediately. Customers who leave scooters this way are instructed accordingly.

The scooter was moved.
