Police officers from Bolesławiec detained two men (aged 50 and 59; one is a resident of Nowogrodziec and the other of Lwówek Śląski) who were stealing fuel. The perpetrators drained 62 litres of petrol and 20 litres of diesel fuel from a tanker.
Furthermore, at the apartment of one of the suspects, officers found a dozen or so 30-litre containers filled with petrol and diesel fuel. It turned out that both detainees were employees of one of the fuel companies.
Both men now face up to five years in prison.
