11 referees from the Jelenia Góra Subdistrict Referees’ College, known from football pitches in the region and associated with the Bolesławiec branch, have joined the Lubuskie Referees’ College. The referees’ move follows events we described at the beginning of March this year.

At that time, the board of the Lower Silesian Football Association decided to dismiss football referee Waldemar Socha from his position as chairman of the Jelenia Góra Referees’ College. Some referees associated with the Bolesławiec Branch did not hide their surprise and protested against the decision. Unfortunately, an agreement could not be reached, and now 11 referees will officiate matches on football pitches in Lubuskie.

As we read on the profile of Lubuskie KS:

The group of referees in the Żary–Żagań Subcollege has been expanded with new officials. These are, of course, former referees of the Lower Silesian Football Association who decided to continue their refereeing careers in our province.

The Żary–Żagań Subcollege has been joined by:
Marek Bałacki, Dominika Bernacka, Marcin Domina, Elżbieta Faryniarz, Marcel Grabowski, Kacper Kizyma, Łukasz Nalepa, Piotr Nowicki, Krzysztof Sadowski, Waldemar Socha, Andrzej Urban.

We welcome our new female and male colleagues to the ranks of Lubuskie referees and hope to see you soon at matches!
