We have reported several times in these pages that national road no. 18, sometimes disparagingly called “patatajka” or the “road of shame,” is to be upgraded to motorway standards.
The road administrator, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, recently published photos on its social media showing how work is progressing on national road no. 18. The work concerns the first section in Lubusz Voivodeship:
The work is scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2023.
