On July 6, the Lubusz Voivodeship Inspector of Environmental Protection issued a decision concerning the German company Heinen to “halt the operation of the installation—the wastewater treatment plant operated by HEINEN (...) with regard to the discharge of wastewater into the receiving body—the energy channel of the Bóbr River (…)”.
The matter was commented on Twitter by Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Jacek Ozdoba:
A decision to halt the installation of the German company HEINEN, which had been discharging waste into the Bóbr River. The decision of the Voivodeship Inspectorate of Environmental Protection takes immediate effect.
