Police officers detained a 27-year-old resident of the Lwówek Śląski municipality. The man is suspected of abusing his grandmother, with whom he lived. – While gathering evidence in this case, officers determined that for several years the man had used physical and psychological violence against the woman – reports Sergeant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski. – The 27-year-old insulted his grandmother with vulgar words, beat her all over her body, forced her to flee the house, extorted money from her, threatened to harm her health and life, and threatened to burn her belongings.
The man was charged. Then, at the prosecutor’s request, he was temporarily detained by the court for three months.
The aggressor may now face up to five years in prison.
