We were the first to report that the paid parking lot by the Bolesławiec PKP railway station lacks the kiss and ride zone, popular in many places—including in Poland.kiss and ride (i.e. kiss and go), but it turns out that the manager will accommodate travelers.

“We have signed an agreement to manage the parking lot in front of the railway station in Bolesławiec, which is managed on our behalf by an external entity. We plan to create a space there designated as a kiss & ride zone,” says Bartłomiej Sarna, from the Commercialization, Communications and Promotion Office of Polskie Koleje Państwowe S.A.

Let us remind you. On June 26, we reported that an information board with parking prices had been installed in front of the PKP railway station in Bolesławiec. There are parking meters in front of the station building, and they are already operating.

Parking fees:

  • parking for less than one hour: PLN 3
  • each subsequent hour: PLN 4
  • parking for one day: PLN 40
  • fine for parking without a ticket: PLN 80

The driver will have 7 days to pay the fine; otherwise, it will increase to PLN 150.

At the time, we added:

The signs and parking meters were installed on Saturday. They were already operating from Sunday. So far, there was a parking ticket behind the windshield of almost none of the cars parked in front of the railway station.
