The exhibition was opened to mark the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Occupational Therapy Workshops in Bolesławiec. – The works created by people with disabilities are authentic and unique – says Justyna Ziółkowska, head of the WTZ. – They reveal the sensitivity and beauty of these people’s souls. We, able-bodied people, should learn this sensitivity from them.

In addition to artworks, the WTZ Chronicle, kept since 2008, is also on display. It contains the following entry: “Be present. There are moments when someone’s helping hand is essential, someone’s presence is a rescue, deliverance, encouragement and consolation. How good it is that there is someone you can turn to for help. How good it is that you are there to come to someone’s aid, simply to be by their side when they need it. How good it is that you are….”

The exhibition can be visited until 14 May in the lobby of the District Office in Bolesławiec.
