The sixth edition of the “Polska Biega” campaign organized by “Gazeta Wyborcza” is getting under way. This year’s competition is being promoted by Mirosław Sakowski, president of the Bolesławiec Golf Club and a City Councilor, and Civic Platform.
The competition will take place on 8 May at the MOSiR Water and Sports Centre on Spacerowa Street. It will begin at 11:00. The organizers have planned three races: 1,500 m for primary- and middle-school students; a 2,500 m main race; and a 1,500 m race for people aged 50 to 110. Participants can register by phone (number 0603 612 762) or directly before the race.
