As reported by the Wrocław Municipal Police Headquarters, a serious road accident occurred on the 135th kilometre of the A4 motorway in the direction of Wrocław. For reasons not yet established, the man driving the truck lost control of the vehicle and veered into the ditch along the right edge of the road.
The driver died at the scene. Staff Sergeant Paweł Noga of the Wrocław Municipal Police Headquarters: – The circumstances of this incident are currently being investigated. Road Traffic Division officers from the Wrocław Municipal Police Headquarters are working at the scene together with other services.
He adds: – The motorway in this location, in the direction of Wrocław, is completely blocked. We ask drivers to choose other alternative travel routes and exercise particular caution. Drivers travelling from the direction of Zgorzelec are asked to leave the A4 motorway at the Kostomłoty junction.
