June 3 at the parking lot of the Road District of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways in Bolesławiec at 9 Kościuszki Street, a Safety Picnic will be held as part of the Lower Silesian Safety Days campaign. Organizers:
During the event, many attractions are planned for both children and adults. The event will run from 9:00 to 13:00. Admission is completely free.
Partners in the campaign include: the State Fire Service County Headquarters in Bolesławiec, the Road Transport Inspection, the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, the Border Guard Post in Zgorzelec, the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, the Military Recruitment Center in Bolesławiec, and the PKP Foundation.
What is on the program?
During the event, visitors will be able to check the technical condition of vehicles at a mobile diagnostic station. They will also be able to take a close look at a police car, an inspection vehicle, and a fire engine. First-aid training will be available for those interested.
What is more, during the meeting, those interested will learn what requirements must be met to become a professional driver or to run a road transport business.
Organizers: – We offer the opportunity to learn about the work of Border Guard officers and GDDKiA employees. The PKP Group Foundation has many interesting facts related to rail transport in store. Gardening workshops titled “Kids Planting” will also be held on site.
Drunk goggles will be available to demonstrate impaired senses after alcohol consumption, and visitors will be able to put them on. For the brave, there will be a crash simulator, as well as a LANGUSTA rocket launcher within arm’s reach. Special guests: Commissioner Lew and Krokodylek.
