On 28 May, a ceremony was held at the Wedding Palace in Bolesławiec to present Medals for Long Marital Life, awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. Bolesławiec City Hall: – The Medal for Long Marital Life is an award for people who have spent at least 50 years in a single marriage.
On this day, the following couples celebrated 50 years of marriage: Helena and Hieronim Izdebscy and Leokadia and Stanisław Zmaczyńscy. The honorary decorations were presented by Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman.
The distinguished anniversary celebrants were accompanied by family and friends. The ceremony was enhanced by a concert performed by artists from the vocal studio of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramic Centre.
