The event took the form of a vocal review whose aim is to promote soldiers’ and patriotic songs among children and young people, preserve and popularize national culture, and support the process of inheriting and cultivating the traditions of the Polish armed forces.
The event was attended, among others, by Deputy Bolesławiec District Head Mirosław Horzempa, Member of the District Board Stanisław Chwojnicki and District Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, brig. Andrzej Śliwowski.
The artists taking part in the competition represented the following institutions: the 2nd Community Self-Help Home in Bolesławiec, the Special Educational and Care Centre named after the Friends of Children in Szklary Górne, the Janusz Korczak Special Educational and Care Centre in Żagań, the Katarzyna Rogowiec Special Educational and Care Centre in Wojcieszów, the District School and Special Education Institutions Complex in Bolesławiec, the School and Educational Centre in Głogów, Occupational Therapy Workshops in Bolesławiec, and the Educational and Care Institutions Complex in Lwówek Śląski.
