Volunteer firefighters from Różyniec announced that on 5 May, fellow firefighter Eugeniusz Piechocki died. The uniformed officers:
He was a longtime member of the Board. He was also a longtime supervisor of the Youth Fire Brigades at OSP Różyniec, and thus raised many young firefighters, inspiring them to take up firefighting through his charismatic personality. He was able to mobilize everyone to take action, without sparing himself. He was always ready to undertake any task, even the most difficult, for the benefit of the unit.
He always stood out for his good humor and determination in pursuing his goal. He never refused anyone any kind of help.
For his many years of community service, he received, among other honors, the Golden Emblem of the Association.

We are convinced that you will find your place there, on the other side. You will surely join the ranks of the Knights of Saint Florian and will continue to support us in our work “from up there,” just as you did until today. You will remain forever in our hearts and memory.
