At the end of April, the Polish Junior and Senior Kickboxing Championships in the K-1 formula were held in Kartuzy. A total of 310 competitors from 88 clubs took part. Club coach Dariusz Dychała: – Four competitors from our club took part.

How did the Bolesławiec fighters perform?

Patrycja Płonka (senior, -60 kg category) faced the Polish champion in the fight for a place in the final. Unfortunately, our fighter lost 2:1 in the final seconds of the bout. (It is worth adding, however, that she led 3:0 for most of the fight.)

Martyna Czuchraj (older junior) won her first fight confidently, 3:0. In the semifinal, she faced Martyna Gasińska (the Polish champion) and, after a strong and evenly matched bout, lost on points.

Patryk Słota put up a good fight in his debut; he led 3:0 in the first round, but a lack of experience ultimately caused him to lose on points.

Our two-time Polish champion Kamil Dychała confidently won his first fight 3:0 (his opponent was counted twice), but unfortunately suffered an injury to his right eye and, after consulting an ophthalmologist, had to withdraw from further bouts. D. Dychała: – It is a great shame, because Kamil went there to win his third Polish Championship title.

The club's training sessions take place at Primary School No. 4 on Mikołaja Brody Street in Bolesławiec.
