Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyna identified, based on the information they had gathered, the perpetrator of a break-in at an agricultural building that took place on the night of 15–16 April. The 27-year-old resident of Bolesławiec municipality was arrested.
However, it turned out that the man had committed other offences. The detainee will face charges for breaking into a house in Bolesławiec and stealing a water pump and cables. What is more, officers proved that the 27-year-old had stolen metal components from a mine in Bolesławiec municipality.
It is worth adding that the suspect committed each of the above-mentioned offences after travelling to the scene by car, despite being subject to a court-imposed driving ban. (In total, the detainee was charged with as many as six offences.)
He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
