During a night patrol of the town, an intervention patrol from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters detained a 40-year-old man who had several portions of marijuana on him. Police Staff Sergeant Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters: – Additionally, proceedings had been conducted against the Bolesławiec resident concerning a break-in at a van used by a courier and the theft of parcels worth more than PLN 6,000.
The latter crime took place in December last year. (The 40-year-old’s accomplices had already been caught by the police.) The Bolesławiec resident had until then been hiding from the justice system.
The wanted man was charged with two offences: possession of narcotics and burglary. And since he is a repeat offender, he now faces up to fifteen years in prison.
