The detention was extended at the request of the Wrocław prosecutor’s office. The former director is suspected of accepting bribes. If the prosecutor’s office gathers evidence quickly, the doctor may be released earlier.
Former hospital director to remain in custody longer
A court has extended the pre-trial detention of the former director of the Hospital for the Nervous and Mentally Ill in Bolesławiec by another two months. Jan K. will not be released until 2 April.
