The incident occurred on Thursday, 3 March, in the Bolesławiec economic zone. A mortar shell was found during construction work. The Bolesławiec Bomb Disposal Patrol of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment decided that, due to the condition of the shell, the dangerous find would have to be detonated on site.
The detonation is scheduled for Friday, 4 March. Tentatively: around 11:30 a.m. All people within a radius of 300 metres will be evacuated beforehand.
