Officers from the Traffic Division of the County Police Headquarters, while patrolling the motorway in Bolesławiec County, stopped three vehicles for inspection whose drivers were travelling at very high speeds:

  • A resident of Wrocław, travelling at 170 km/h, was returning from abroad in a vehicle whose temporary road authorisation had expired. For the offences committed, the 23-year-old was fined PLN 3,000.
  • With a limit of 110 km/h, a 36-year-old man sped along the A4 at 194 km/h. The Warsaw resident was fined PLN 2,500 and received 10 penalty points.
  • A 43-year-old woman, returning from England, disregarded the speed limit, exceeding it by 75 km/h. The woman was fined PLN 2,500 and received 10 penalty points.
