Despite the incomplete squad, the Bolesławiec team started the first set well. Graczyk played as the setter from the beginning of the match. Unfortunately, he had to play practically without a break because there was no one to replace him. TOP fought point for point until halfway through the first set. The hosts gained an advantage as a result of the Bolesławiec players' errors. Maraton won the first set 25–20.
TOP had the advantage from the beginning of the second set. The Bolesławiec players managed to maintain a lead of several points until the end. In addition, the hosts made errors when receiving the ball and setting up attacks. This time, Maraton lost the set 21–25.
Saturday's match had no clear favorite. The visitors and the hosts took the lead by turns. Maraton's players had the advantage in the third set, winning it 25–18, while TOP dominated the fourth, winning 25–20.
The deciding tie-break was dramatic. TOP led 4–0. At the change of ends, the Bolesławiec team was ahead 8–6. The change of ends proved fortunate for the hosts. Maraton made up the deficit and narrowly won the deciding set 15–10.
The match against Maraton Świnoujście was the final, fourteenth round of the regular-season competition. Thirteen defeats, one win and last place in the standings—that was the result of the Bolesławiec team's campaign in the second division of volleyball. The Bolesławiec team still has the play-off competition ahead of it.
