A fire was set during the night of January 29 in Giebułtów (Mirsk gmina, Lwówek County). A 29-year-old resident of Lubań County broke into a residential building, robbed it and then— in order to cover up traces of his criminal activity—set the building on fire. The building burned down completely.
The 29-year-old was arrested. During police procedures, he insulted officers and violated their bodily integrity.
The court ordered the arson suspect to be held in temporary custody for three months. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
