The incident occurred on the night from Saturday to Sunday at kilometre 54 of the A4 motorway, between Krzyżowa and Szczytnica. The 55-year-old from Opole Voivodeship, whose vehicle had been damaged, stopped on the motorway. The problem, however, was that he neither put out a warning triangle nor turned on the hazard lights. The result? Another car crashed into the completely unmarked vehicle.
Fortunately, no one suffered more serious injuries. The man from Opole Voivodeship was fined PLN 1,300.
The road remained passable, with traffic moving in the left lane.
Firefighters from JRG Bolesławiec, OSP Krzyżowa, OSP Różyniec, as well as an emergency medical team and the police took part in the operation.
