The incident took place on Friday, 11 February. Volunteer firefighters from Tomaszów Bolesławiecki:
At 7:39 p.m., we were dispatched to a suspected suicide attempt in Szczytnica.
In addition to the firefighters from Tomaszów, uniformed officers from Bolesławiec and Różyniec also took part in the operation. Fortunately, the alarm turned out to be false.
