The incident took place on Thursday, February 10, at approximately 4:00 p.m., on national road no. 297, near Golnice (just before the roundabout on the A18). The driver of a Ford, a 26-year-old woman from Rybnik County, crashed into the rear of a Volkswagen Golf driven by a 46-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County.
The latter woman was injured. She was taken to hospital with spinal injuries. Fortunately, it turned out at the scene that the woman had suffered only minor injuries. The incident was classified as a collision; nevertheless, the entire matter will end up in court.
The officers are appealing for prudence and caution on the road.
