Nowogrodziec officials:
The condition of the road infrastructure in our gmina is steadily improving. Concerned about the safety and comfort of residents, new sections of reconstructed roads are put into service every year. This month, 1,730 linear metres of newly constructed roads were accepted in the following locations:
- Gościszów – plots no. 473 and 397/29,
- Milików – plot no. 584,
- Zabłocie – plot no. 19
- and Nowogrodziec on Sienkiewicza, Wąska and Sosnowa streets.
The total cost of the project is approximately PLN 830,000. Robert Relich, Mayor of Nowogrodziec:
By raising road standards, we improve transport accessibility and residents’ safety. These activities are a priority for us. Thanks to the modernisation of the roads, we have ensured access to and travel to residential buildings, improved traffic safety, reduced maintenance costs and significantly increased driving comfort.
However, as the Nowogrodziec office announces, this is not the end of the changes. On 27 January, the gmina head signed further contracts for construction works related to improving road quality in the following locations:
- Gierałtów – plot no. 607, 585, no. 716;
- Zebrzydowa – plots no. 830, 624/15, 624/5, 625/17;
- Godzieszów – plot no. 428;
- Nowogrodziec – on Moniuszki and Paderewskiego streets;
- Nowa Wieś – plots no. 480, 486 and 513/2
- and Milików – plots no. 608 and 607.
The total cost of these projects is approximately PLN 1,630,000. The works are to be completed by the end of May 2022.
