This coming Sunday, you will be able to support not only the main objective of this year’s WOŚP finale, but also share a medicine that cannot be produced in any laboratory—blood. The Regional Blood Donation and Blood Treatment Centre in Wałbrzych has once again joined the finale. Blood can be donated, among other locations, in Bolesławiec: 30 January, 11:00–15:00, at the Provincial Hospital for the Mentally and Nervously Ill in Bolesławiec (al. Tysiąclecia).

You can donate blood if:

  • you are 18–65 years old and have an identity card (or another photo ID);
  • you weigh more than 50 kg;
  • your health is very good and you have not had jaundice;
  • you have not had contact with a person suffering from COVID-19 or subject to quarantine!

Before donating blood, eat a light, low-fat breakfast. Drink more fluids than usual.

Wałbrzych facility:

Blood is a medicine that we obtain only thanks to human kindness, because only one person can offer it to another as a special gift—a gift of life.

Do not pass by this special blood donation drive indifferently. An adequate, permanent blood reserve means the safety of us all, because we never know when we—or our loved ones—may be forced to use it.
