There was a detention on January 6. Shortly after 6 a.m., officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters received a report concerning a disturbance in one of the apartments in the city. KPP:
At the scene, the officers established that the 41-year-old had been physically and psychologically abusing his mother for several weeks. The woman called the police for help because her son, while under the influence of alcohol, had started another disturbance.
The man was detained and brought before the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec. The prosecutor placed the suspect under police supervision and also banned him from contacting or approaching his mother. Moreover, the aggressor was ordered to leave the victim’s apartment.
The 41-year-old now faces up to five years in prison.
