At the end of November last year, Nowogrodziec councillors adopted a resolution concerning consent to transferring, by way of donation, real estate owned by the Nowogrodziec municipality. The document states:

The property [...] will be donated for purposes related to the protection and restoration of a structure entered in the register of historic monuments […].

This concerns the Magdalene monastery in Nowogrodziec, which will be restored by the “Twoje Dziedzictwo” Foundation. The organization’s website, in turn, states:

We are launching a new project! Its goal is to save the historic monastery from deterioration and give it a new function. Its history dates back to 1217, when Hedwig of Silesia designated a hunting castle, received from her husband, for monastic purposes.

We are combining the project with our “Become an Heir” campaign, so you can support the Monastery of Souls, acquiring titles there and the opportunity to decide its future.

The foundation adds:

Dozens of fortresses, palaces, castles, towers and strongholds continue to fall into ruin […].

Few people in the world can single-handedly bear the burden of saving a ruined historic monument. But together, we can do it! Take your heritage into your own hands today and acquire a title at the Monastery of Souls!

How can you support the campaign to save the monastery?

The foundation encourages people:

Not only will you save a beautiful piece of cultural heritage this way, but you will also gain a noble title and privileges at the Monastery of Souls!
