What are the objectives of the investment?

Road authorities:

The primary objective of the investment is to expand the A4 motorway into a dual-carriageway, three-lane road and construct the dual-carriageway, two-lane S5 expressway.

And they say: – This will improve safety across the road network.

Moreover, according to the investor’s plans, improved transport accessibility to Lower Silesia is expected to generate increased business investment in the area and, consequently, ensure the economic and territorial cohesion of the macroregion. The development of transport, forwarding and logistics services will accelerate. Residents’ mobility will increase, leading to the growth of various forms of tourism. Traffic congestion on existing national roads and the motorway will decrease as transit traffic is diverted, improving living conditions for residents of the region. At the same time, economic activity in the area will create new jobs and support the development of existing Special Economic Zones.
