The letter shows that the trade unions are observing the situation at the hospital with concern. They assess the actions of the county authorities and hospital management as destructive to the hospital itself. The letter states: “(...)The hospital staff feel disregarded and deceived by the County Board. We learned about Finryan’s withdrawal from the company from the media (...)”.
The trade unions are demanding information about the hospital’s current situation. They are calling for the immediate suspension of the procedure to liquidate the Independent Public Healthcare Institution (SP ZOZ). They expect the county councillors to immediately dismiss the people who, in the unions’ assessment, are acting to the detriment of SP ZOZ. They name among them Bolesławiec County Governor Krzysztof Konopka and the entire County Board, the governor’s plenipotentiary for healthcare, Barbara Misińska, and SP ZOZ director Dariusz Kłos.
If the County Council responds negatively to the demands put forward, the trade union organizations will exercise their statutory rights, including going on strike. The trade unions also announce that the relevant authorities will be informed about the method of restructuring and privatizing the Bolesławiec hospital.
