New Bolesławiec Bypass to Be Completed by 2026 with Government Funding

The Prime Minister granted funding for 51 bypasses under the Government Roads Development Fund (RFRD). More than PLN 38.7 million will be allocated to the Bolesławiec bypass over five years; its total cost is PLN 64.6 million.

The new 6-kilometre infrastructure, which will receive government funding, will be built along provincial road 297. The cost of constructing the second stage of the Bolesławiec bypass (from the roundabout in Kruszyn to Kościuszki Street) will exceed PLN 64.6 million. The government will fund 60% of the construction, providing PLN 38.7 million. This amount will be spread over five years:

2022: PLN 500,000
2023: PLN 500,000
2024: PLN 6,000,000
2025: PLN 15,000,000
2026: PLN 16,781,283.32

The construction of the bypass will relieve road traffic and improve residents’ safety. North–south traffic from the city centre will be redirected to the newly constructed bypass.
