Officers of the Lower Silesian National Revenue Administration from Zgorzelec and the Nadodrze Border Guard Unit stopped a transport carrying 743 kg of illegal tobacco cuttings during a routine roadside inspection near the A4 motorway. – The van driver did not report the transport of goods subject to monitoring in the SENT system (Electronic Transport Supervision System) and did not have the required documents with him – informs Agnieszka Rzeźnicka-Gniadek, spokesperson for the Lower Silesian KAS.
She adds:
We remind you that if you send, receive or transport “sensitive goods”, such as fuel, tobacco cuttings or alcohol, you are required to report the transport to the electronic SENT register. As a carrier, you are also required to equip the transport with a device transmitting geolocation data.
