On Wednesday, March 17, another edition of the Mathematics and Fitness Tournament was held in the gymnasium of the Primary School in Kraśnik Dolny. The event was organized by the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn. Four-person teams representing primary schools from the rural municipality took part in the competition. All participants competed in both fitness and mathematics events.
A slalom between cones with a beanbag on the head, passing under a hurdle and rolling a medicine ball through a slalom course were just some of the fitness events held during the tournament.
First place was won by the team from the Primary School in Ocice. Second place went to the team from Żeliszów, while third place was taken by the team from Kraśnik Dolny.
The committee overseeing the proper course of the competition consisted of: Helena Szymula, Maria Strojek and Janusz Cieśla.
