The incident occurred after 4:30 a.m. during the night from Sunday to Monday. Firefighters were called to the Ibis hotel on Asnyka Street.
One of the smoke detectors installed on the roof was activated. In fact, something was “smoking” on the building, but it was probably condensed water vapor from some device.
The firefighters checked the roof and noticed nothing suspicious.
