On Monday, March 8, Kruszyń police detained a 22-year-old suspected of possessing drugs. The man stopped for a roadside inspection. His behavior seemed strange to the officers. However, nothing indicated that the driver had previously consumed alcohol.
As it turned out, the 22-year-old had more than one dose of amphetamine on him. He had hidden the drug in his sock. Preliminary findings indicate that the man was driving a car under the influence of narcotic substances (the police are awaiting the results of the blood test).
The suspect now faces up to three years in prison.
