Scouts from the Bolesławiec ZHP Gray Ranks Troop cleaned the steps and their surroundings in the forest near Jeleniogórska Street in Bolesławiec. The young people also regularly clean the local forest, as well as the forest and clearing near Piastów Street in Bolesławiec.

Unfortunately, new rubbish appears in the places cleaned by the scouts after just a few days. This usually happens after days off work, on public holidays or weekends. The rubbish left in the forest most often consists of cans, alcohol bottles, bags and plastic packaging.
Once again, one may ask why people cannot (or do not want to?) take their rubbish with them and simply throw it into the nearest bin. If they did so, there would be far fewer littered places...
Why was littering not such a serious problem 10–20 years ago? Bonfires and parties were also held then, but green areas were not as littered as they are today.
