On Monday, November 8, a meeting was held in the conference room of the Bolesławiec County Office, during which, among other things, an agreement was ceremonially signed for a project whose official name is: “Construction of access roads to the Trzebień Mały and Pstrąże camps, together with the construction of two bridges over the Bóbr River and intersections with DW 297.”

Bolesławiec County starosta Tomasz Gabrysiakspoke:

This is a very important day for Bolesławiec County. We are signing a contract for the construction of two bridges and a road network in the Bolesławiec rural municipality. But these roads are important for the entire county, as well as for neighboring counties.

The meeting was attended, among others, by the head of Bolesławiec Municipality, who, as the starosta noted, had been actively involved in negotiations with the Ministry of Infrastructure from the very beginning.

More about the investment

  • Preparations lasted 2.5 years.
  • The total cost of the project is PLN 117 million.
  • The investment is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
  • The project will include:
    • 12 km of roads,
    • 2 large bridges,
    • the Trzebień bypass.

The starosta added that this was a response to requests from residents of Trzebień and Trzebień Mały, as well as to increasing traffic on Road 297. He emphasized:

The Bolesławiec County has never allocated such a large amount to investments before.

Of course, the entire matter is connected with the planned camps for US Army soldiers. We will return to the subject.
