The renovation of Łasicka and Żeromskiego Streets in Bolesławiec is scheduled to end in mid-November. The streets are not closed to traffic during the renovation, but driving along them resembles navigating an obstacle course. Drivers must watch out for protruding manholes, warning posts, and entrances to and exits from other streets.
The works include renovating a section of streets more than one kilometre long, along with pavements on both sides of the roads.
The value of the project is PLN 1,600,000.00. Eighty percent of the costs is covered by funding from the Government Roads Fund; the own contribution will be financed by Powiat Bolesławiecki (10%) and the City of Bolesławiec (10%).
