November 1 is the day when we visit cemeteries and memorial sites in large numbers. On October 29, soldiers of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment visited the graves of their deceased comrades and the graves of soldiers who fell on the fronts of war.
Every year on November 1, we remember the soldiers who have gone on eternal watch. On this special day, we honor the memory of soldiers who fought on the fronts of all the struggles for a free and independent Poland.
The Bolesławiec artillerymen paid tribute to them by lighting candles beneath monuments commemorating heroes who fell for their homeland, at the graves of deceased soldiers of the unit, and beneath memorial plaques dedicated to fallen and deceased soldiers of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade and its predecessors.
