The Bolesławiec County Council session is underway. During his report on activities in the period between sessions, County head Tomasz Gabrysiak mentioned the current COVID-19 situation at the Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej in Bolesławiec. Seventy-four people are hospitalised, 16 of them on ventilators.

The head of the Bolesławiec County Board noted that, by decision of the voivode, the Bolesławiec hospital will have to make 150 beds available for people infected with COVID-19.

“It looks as though the pandemic is gathering pace,” T. Gabrysiak noted. He added that, according to forecasts, the peak of the fourth wave is expected in a month.
